I apologize for being gone for a while. I have been making some scrunches to sell by creating a website. I made them by using thick elastic and second-hand fabrics.

Process of filling out paperwork

I did love doing papers when I was in high school. I found the paperwork overwhelming, but I never filled it out. I was anxious about what I needed to do to start a business.

Deciding to start a business as a sole proprietorship or LLC caused me so much anxiety. I also had a fear of losing it if I started it. I would often stay away from complex things because I struggle with reading.

It was a confusing process when I looked at how to apply for a seller’s permit to sell online. I did apply for state healthcare insurance by phone. It was less stressful and not so complicated.

Things to consider

It’s best to create a business plan to know what to focus on, your target market, and make it profitable. Have accounting software or an Excel spreadsheet to keep track of finances. Always remember to do some research before starting a business.

It would help if you bought a thermal printer for shipping labels. And buy thank you cards and stickers…
